Straight out of high school and with zero connections, Grantley blagged his way onto a film set which launched his career originally as a Sculptor working on American features.
Unsatisfied with the art of making polystyrene blocks look like other things, he spent his weekends making a short film which ultimately toured internationally, won several awards and inadvertently paved his way to TV commercials.
For the last decade or so he’s worked almost exclusively in advertising, where he’s known primarily for his comedic work that balances the deadpan with the bizarre, as well as his performance work with both actors and non-actors alike. But alongside this he also has a has a robust technical knowledge, a meticulous eye for detail and a dubious ability to write biographies in the third person.
