Pooh Bear in the City is a live-action/CGI family fantasy comedy that reimagines a beloved classic for a new generation. After Pooh and his friends are spirited away from A.A. Milne’s house in England and taken on a publicity tour across America, they are eventually placed in the New York Public Library, where time passes and the world slowly forgets them. But in the heart of the city, their story begins again, inviting audiences back into a world of innocence, wonder and gentle adventure, this time against the magic, scale and chaos of the Big Apple.
Blending nostalgia with a fresh character design and a modern sense of humour, Pooh Bear in the City fondly reimagines iconic moments while creating new memories for families to share. With a team that includes Brigham Taylor, Jonathan Sharpe and Jamie Cohen, and experience across major legacy family titles, the film is positioned as a heartfelt event movie about rediscovery, friendship and the enduring power of characters who have shaped generations.
