We’re buzzing to welcome Luna Laure to the Clockwork roster! An established filmmaker, Luna is celebrated for her striking visual style, sharp storytelling instincts, and unique approach to cinematography, art direction and movement. Her work spans commercials, music videos, and documentaries, often infused with a deeply human touch.
To mark her arrival, we put her in the hot seat for our “5 Minutes, 10 Questions” series – a quickfire way to get to know the creative minds behind the camera. From morning coffee rituals to dream film locations, here’s Luna beyond the lens.
1. First thing you do when you wake up?
I turn the coffee machine on, then get back in bed with a cuppa!
2. One word your friends would use to describe you?
I just asked my work colleague and he said “you can’t be described in one word”
3. Coffee order?
A long black (or 5!)
4. Best film you’ve watched this year?
Anatomy of a Fall (or was that last year?)
5. What’s always in your director’s kit?
Some sort of analog camera, the hi8 or the 35mm stills camera always seem to make their way on any set I’m on!
6. What’s harder: the first day of a shoot or the last?
The last day!
7. Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
I think my parents taught me how to “work hard”
8. The emoji that sums you up best?
is certainly my most used one at the moment!
9. Your go-to karaoke song?
Here’s a secret: I’ve actually never been to karaoke, but I think I’d do Ain’t Nobody by Chaka Kahn
10. What’s your dream location to film in?
There are so many! Cool markets somewhere in South East Asia I’d say!
