Bio

Emma Vickery

Director

Growing up as a country kid and a voracious film buff, Emma Vickery was obsessed with movies, music videos, commercials—the lot. With small town life came the need for a robust imagination, and making up stories for her friends and family’s entertainment became her favourite pastime.

After graduating with a BA/BA (hons) in Screen Arts, she cut her teeth in the industry working in film and TV art and wardrobe departments. With over ten years of industry experience, she is passionate about bringing visual enthralment to everything that she does. This keen eye is something she now brings to her work as a director of commercials and short-form content.

Emma’s short films have screened at festivals around the world and been broadcast by SBS. Her commercial clients have included the Department of Education, WA Police Union, Western Power, and Murdoch University. She is currently working out of Walyalup (Fremantle) in WA, but is always ready to travel for work or play. She loves to collaborate with other creatives and clients and is most passionate about crafting work that celebrates authenticity, inspires human connection, and looks devastatingly good.
